Can potty training make my son sick?

MY SON JUST TURNED THREE AND WE ARE TRYING TO POTTY TRAIN HIM BUT HAVING A REALLY HARD TIME. FOR THE LAST WEEK HE HAS BEEN RUNNING LOW FEVERS DURING THE DAY. DO YOU THINK POTTY TRAINING MIGHT BE MAKING SICK?

No, Potty training is not making him sick. Don't push him too hard though. Make a note on when he does his business and ask him if he wants to go. Make a game of it and don't forget to praise him for his efforts. Good luck.

Dear vvasquez117,
There are several methods to help with potty training. The most successful seems to be PARTY TIME. This is when he uses the potty you throw a party...each time. Just a small party with the family such as have balloons blown up...take them out, have some games, music etc. This has been proven to work within a few weeks. When he is going on a regular basis you cut back on the party but not the praise. The fever probably has nothing to do with potty training unless he is getting so frustrated and angry that he is heating up.
