Could i be pregnant

Ok i had sex with my bf again we only had sex 2 times one on 6th and 21. My last period was on the 26 so i worry about could be pregnant. My bf told me i can only get pregant 5 days after my period.

If your period started on the 26th then ovulation would most likely be around the 9th.(the 14th day of your cycle) You COULD get pregnant. Sperm can live inside you for up to 3 days. So there is a slight chance.

And keep in mind of course that this is just an average guesstimate. Your cycle can be completely different, you could have ovulated sooner. (I think you are probably ok from the 21st but you're right on the border for the 6th. I would get a pregnancy test)

He's a guy and has no clue what he is talking about. Ovulation has to happen for you to conceive...That is an egg being released and ready. Eggs live 24 to 48 hrs but you also have to keep in mind the time frame in which sperm can live inside the uterus(72hrs).

You cannot just look at a calendar and say "yup I'm fertile and ovulating- Can't have sex"

It is a complicated process of charting, checking your cervix for changes, checking mucus for changes and taking your basal body temperature. Because every woman is different and for some every cycle is even different.

It isn't a very practical method. I reccomend getting a reliable form of birth control if you want to prevent pregnancy.
