if yr case is truely over 10yrs old you r eligable to plea yr case to the court that sentenced you to have yr records file closed or exspunged .....now grant it ,,,it will take you hire'n a lawyer for this but after wards you will b able to walk thru life with out anymore shame?????......ITS WORTH IT!!!!!!!
you can always put in for a presidential pardon. Its been a long time and I want ask you what have you been doing since. It is work a shot and you really don't need a lawyer to get this done. You can download at http://www.usdoj.gov/pardon. You can read the information and download the application. It is a process but be willing to do it, locate your record you know the fbi number or case number, sentence, and charges. The application wants your whole life basically. My advice is if you do decide to do this be honest no matter what
Keep the faith and hope for the best in all likelihood it will happen. It was a long time ago and the best part is if you are now making an honest living or some sort, have been redeem and understand in its entirety about how society views you, you'll be ok.
Sincerely.

How can I get a job with an fbi felony record?
I have a felony record with a FBI number. It has been over twenty years but with the FBI, no matter how long they go back in a search the FBI number is there. I am a different person today and have been for some time. I would like to change the facts...
but they are what they are. I want to make a honest living an get a decent pay. How and what can I do to find employers that is willing to understand that I am different and give me a chance?
