Contolling our dreams?

if we really think about something before we go 2 bed, can we dream of that thing?

I've heard that is true, but whenever I do it, I don't.

but then theres other times where I have random dreams

like every night I think of this girl
but sometimes I dont dream about her

Yeah but you really have to be concentrating a lot on the subject. But your brain/mind will also have other memories and images to sort through the night as your dreams so you might not dream what you want to.

yes you can. theres a name for it. its called Lucid Dreaming. I can do it really well. I do it every night. that way I have the dreams I want

it happens to me every time! whenever im constantly thinking about something, I dream about it... good or bad. I have arachnophobia, like really bad, and there was a tarantula at my work on Friday. I've been dreaming about stupid spiders ever since!

I notice a lot of my dreams have to do with whats been going on in my day, not just the last 20 min before I go to sleep. But maybe thats just me or something .

it pretty much happens everytime. But, you got to remember, we don't remember all of our dreams. It's just fact. We probably have more dreams than we know...
