What are the rules of wearing contacts?

ok, I've been wearin glasses since the 5th grade and now I'm in 8th, going on to high school. anyway, I've been thinking of getting contacts for a while now. I think I would like em better than glasses, my friends all say I look amazing w.out glasses....

some guys even see the difference=). so, I've heard that you have 2 wear a different pair a day or something. basically, what are the "rules" of contacts. wearing them, taking them out, etc.

Also, is there a colored contact for dark brown eyes or will it just look like an even darker brown? Just curious!

Um, well I don't know what kind of contacts you have, but most of the time, you wear the same pair of contacts for 2 weeks or more, and after they start to feel uncomfortable, you can toss them out and grab new ones from the packs. It really depends what kind of contacts you get though.

When you get them, they should explain how to put them in, take them out, and how to clean them.

Make sure to clean them really well, always remember to take them out before you go to sleep, and take good care of them. They're expensive.

I believe there is a contact lense that you change every day, I havent quite done the research into this, but if there is I guess the advantage would be you dont have to remember when to take out a new pair, it reduces infections etc... however, if you take them out, then later on in the day want to put them back in (say you're going out at night...) then you need to take out a whole new pair...

The contacts I wear are changed monthly... I mean its a little bit more work than glasses, but some people look better and I guess it is worth it...
Basic rules are you shouldnt wear them for more than the recommeneded hours (depends on your contacts but usually between 8-12 hours), you just need to clean your lense case every day, and basically change your contacts every month...

There are colored contacts (I wear them) and you can basically pick any color you like... I have dark brown eyes, and I wear gray contacts, my eyes look gray... You can test the contacts at the doctor's office...

I have colored contacts with prescription so im the same as you
I have really dark brown eyes to so I got green and yeah they look natural
it also depends on how much money you have of couse
if you get the contacts were you put a new pair in each day thats a lot more
what I have is every 2 weeks I put a new pair in and at night take them out and put them in there case with sollution..you should get contacts for this one reason...
you havent enjoyed the rain til your able to go in the rain and be able to see at the same time...for me I was so happy and excited..just think about it..
