Will contacts mess up my eyes?

I'm thinking about getting contacts but I'm afraid that it will mess up my eyes.
Evryones getting contacts but I'm not sure about gettiing themm now until my prom and graduation.
And my friend keeps telling me to get conatcts! But glasses is the new...

fashion right now. What should I do???

well I have contacts and I dont wear glasses
they are blue well turquoise
go with glasses if you are
scared that they will mess up your eyes
but if you want to try them then go ahead.

well my eyes are like totally messed up, so my only option is to use contacts, It's not hard at ALL, and studies show that your vision gets better by using contatcs!!
And if you like to wear glasses, then wear them!! regardless to what your friends say, it's YOUR OWN choice. But you can always use both. I would love to be able to use glasses!!!

I had them since I were 13.. and they won't mess up your eyes at all.
They can't do any damage to your eyes. You have to get used to them tho, so I suggest putting them in a few days before (for example) graduation or your prom.
Just go to the eye-doctor to see which ones you have to buy. :D

Yes to all the doctor stuff. But always make sure, NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SLEEP WITH THEM IN!!! Eye infections up the butt.

its your choice..go get them prescripted by a doc
just dont sleep with them unless your told that you can..by the doc of course
and clean them often..especially your hands before use..
but glasses are always awesome..

I've had contacts since the beginning of seventh grade
they dont mess up your eyes, actaully they have improven my eye sight.
so yea go for it

You should get prescription contact lenses from the opician, as they will be suitable for your eye type. Don't buy lenses on hight street or on the internet, otherwise you might mess your eyes, as they are sensitive.

well contacts mmay improve your vision without the hassle of wearing glasses that break or fall off, but contacts dont hurt most people I know cant even feel them but if you like and are used to glasses then keep wearing them if you want to switch to contacts ask your eye doctor
