That is an organization that can help him if he truly wants to stop.

This one is for you. There is a whole world of people that will help you learn to interact with in addict in the most loving way. Both of you should check out meeting locations and times in your area. They are often in the same building, and if you need a ride, call the number they have posted and someone will pick you up.

oOoOo... who's the loved one?...lol

but yeaa... drugs are just like smoking... they both do harm to the body... and they are both addictive and hard to stop.!! tell this "loved one" of yours how much you care about his/her health... and reccomend them to go to the doctors and offer to come!! stopping drugs is mentally hard... and it isn't easy with people just telling them to stop!! - they need medical help and treatment! I'm sure a doctor would know what to do! and if this "loved one" of yours cares about you the way you do...he should listen!! good luck =)

Ezzy, when your boyfriend wants to stop (and I don't mean just because you want him to) he can contact NA (narcotics anonymous) or MA (marihuana anonymous). To get their numbers, contact AA (alcoholics anonymous). They usually have the numbers. IN HOBBS AA IS AT PO Box 1171, Hobbs, NM (575) 397-7009?

MEANWHILE, you must start going to Ala-teen or Al-anon meetings. These are meetings for friends and family of addicts. And make no mistake, your boyfriend's behavior is that of an addict.

Dr. Drew Pinsky (a leading expert in addiction medicine) stated that the one thing that is most likely to get your boyfriend to seriously quit, is to join one of the two organizations I mentioned.

I wish you
Good Luck!!
