Confused.

I have this friend, and he says he likes me, and he knows I've liked him for a couple years. He told me the other night that him and his girlfriend werent working, apparently he found her boring or something. But he told me he should have gotten with me....

The thng is, he wont break up with his girlfriend for another few months. And I told him I dont want to wait around. 2 years is enough to wait. My problem is.. I cant get over him. He's all I think about when im with other guys.. I dont know what to do.

why can't he break up with his girlfriend? hes only going to hurt her more if he still stays with her...you should bring this up to him. if you're trying really hard to get over him you should stop talking to him in general because if you keep talking to him your still going to see everything in him that you like. if you can't do that truly want to be with him then wait

Its obvious he likes his girlfriend more than hes telling you. I think he just wants some fun on the side, and still keep his girlfriend. Dont be a fool into believing he likes you. Actions speak louder than words. With so many guys in the world, why would you wait around for someone who obviously isnt interested in you, otherwise, dont you think YOU would be his girlfriend by now!

wow, you are going to ruin your life this way. if he is all you can think about, how can you focus on yourself and all the goals you have in your life. you need to forget this loser, especially since he is screwing you around like that. hes being a jerk, to be quite frank. sorry.

A good way to get over someone is to find a new person of interest! It snaps you out of the habits you usually take on with this certain guy.. and opens your mind up to new and more exciting things =]
If your boy won't break up with his girlfriend... I'd be shopping for a new crush! Don't linger on things that probably won't change soon. If you think he's going to get with you eventually (but not soon), then go out on a date with someone else to cut the suspense down, so you don't get obsessive and keep your mind on other guys. Remember, he's not the only fish in the sea. Keep your mind open.
