How can I find someone to hire me for child care?

I just turned 14 and I can't seem to find somewhere that will hire me for child care. Can anyone help me?

One thing that might help is if you take the Red Cross babysitting course at your local YMCA. That way potential employers would know that you know how to take care of kids and what to do in case of emergencies.
