I think it could be either because it could be the chicken cause god created animals or it could be the egg because that is what chickens come to life out of

Im going to have to disagree and go with an egg after a few minutes of thinking...because the chicken was created from an egg and without an egg there would be no chicken...(I know the whole chicken layed the egg thing) but im talking about the first ever egg that hatched into a chiken...if you get me...bugger were the egg came from, im going with the egg...

Okay this question depends on what you mean by egg. If you say what came first the Chicken or the Chicken egg then the Chicken came first, but if you say what came first the Chicken or any egg, then the egg, because the fist chicken did not come from a Chicken egg but another animal. This is called Evolution. The first Chicken came from another species. A chicken-like species laid a chicken-like egg which gave birth to the first chicken. So the fist chicken did not come from a chicken egg but another species egg, which it evolved from. Hope this helped.

"Which came first, the chicken or the egg?"

The egg
.
It was laid by the female of a species. During its development it developed one or more evolutionary traits that started its distinctiveness as being a little different from the creature that laid it.

Those traits aided in its survival and growth and were therefor passed on to future generations.

Future generations kept evolving with additional survival traits until eventually the complete chicken had evolved.

But it still had to come from an egg, so the egg came first!

How about this; the chicken is the egg, the egg is the chicken. We are all the egg, and we are all the chicken. Everything is one, and one is everything.
