What's this stinging pain in my chest?

Sometimes I get this pain in mychest and it's like a singinging pain. I kind of can't explain it, but whenever I breath in it hurts so bad. One night I was lying down watching t.v and it started hurting and it just got worse and worse to where I had to...

take little tiny breaths real fast to breathe. Anybody know what is wrong with me.

You should check it out, it might me angina pectoris.

Sounds like pluresiy or maybe even pneumonia , best to go have yourself checked now , instead of letting it get worse

it is not angina pain..
do you have cough,sputum or any other resp problems?
if you dont have it then it must be
A simple heart burn or a gastro esophageal reflux desease
or it may be a referred pain

I used to get this deep pain in my thorax area. I had many different diagnosis but were all wrong. After 4 years we discovered I had gall stones. My gallbladder was taken out and I am cured. The pain came from having extremely greasy foods or spicey foods. I would be up hours at a time at night. See a gastroenterologist.

but it doesn't happen all the time

It didn't happen to me all the time either until I had some really spicey food or sometimes alcohol.
