Charging my ipod shuffle...

Ok so when I put my ipod shuffle on the charger it blinks 3-4 times then it stops so whats wrong shud I get a new charger or what..thanks for the help...

It could just be the charger. But before you go buy a new one, test it out with a friend's charger. Just so you don't waste the money, in case it's the hardware.
