I don't think it's practical, because felons on this site usually only have one question: How and where to get a job.

I guess as the advisors have put it they are looking for jobs. In the United States if you are convicted of a felony you loose all of your civil rights. On paper you are less than a citizen. When people think of felonies they think of serious crimes like murder, rape, robbery, ect. these are considered barring crimes. Most people have non-volent crimes like drug charges, I am not trying to say that these crimes are not bad also it could be that you have had several driving charges and that would be a felony.
It is somewhat very easy to get a felony charge in the United States. Most all application for employment ask if you have been convicted of a felony and most all will do a back ground check, it will show up. Most people feel it was an attemt by the Republician party again to keep people from voting since most people that are affected would vote democratic and since most of the studies have pointed out most of the people affected are black. Two very good organization that have been working hard to help on this is ACLU and the NAACP. I am not trying to justify why people do what they do. People do make misstakes for a lot of reasons, mental illness, enviroment, drug addition, ect. The criminal system only works for the rich and the connected.
