Why is my cat's rectum bleeding?

Thunder Robot Asked by funadvice 10 months ago, 6 answers.

I've never noticed my cats bum bleeding before.. everytime he goes to the littbox to do his buisiness he howls or meows a lot- I thought it was because he was discusted with it- like my friend said its normal for them to do that. But then I saw him...

come out of the litterbox- his tail lifted and there is blood on his butt! Could he have a tumor? Cut? I'm really worried about him- but I don't want to take him to the vet just yet. If a cats rectum has blood on it what is wrong? :[

still take him to the vet there is a thing as kitty hemerhoids, and if those rupture bye bye kitty (a ruptured hemoroid in animals can result in a loss of too much blood ina short period of time)
