Do cats eat human foods?

animalz Asked by reona1997 11 months ago, 15 answers.

I want to ask once again, do cats eat human foods? because my cat... :
-Mimi: she eats seaweed, seafoods the best. She likes licking soy sauce, too.
-Kitty: He eats bread(a little).
- Katty: She eats a little slice of noodle.
-Wolfie: This...

little cute cat eats vegetables, a little slice of noodles, seaweed and licking soy sauce too.
- All : Rice.
They receive it, you know. They receive it, smell it, eat it, and
bugging to have more.

I gave them cat food, of course (lol), if we are run out of foods we use our dog's foods.

dog food is not healthy for a cat...they cannot digest it properly and the nutrients are different. soy sauce is too salty for a cat, you can hurt them. as for the other people food stick to protiens, this is what cats eat in the wild. seafood, chicken, and turkey in small amounts will be okay for your cats to eat. the other stuff is junk and shouldnt be fed to your cats.

Cats will eat lots of things, but not everything they eat is good for them. Our cat for instance likes Ice Cream (but we only let it lick our bowls after we've finished), cheese (we only give it bits of cheese from time to time - small quantities are okay), and loves his ham. Also, Vegemite or Marmite on bread/toast is considered healthy for cats so long as they don't eat too much. Dog food is bad for cats - in fact, its often better to give a cat human food rather than dog food.

But remember, there is such thing as Cat food for a reason - its designed to best suit their dietary requirements and give them all the things they need to be healthy, and strong.

Yes, though some can be very dangerous to them- you might have heard that chocolate is bad for them.

One human food that is great for a cat's digestion is corn.
Sounds weird, but I swear it's true.
Most cats love the taste and it is good for them, although always try to use fresh, preservative-free corn.

Scarhead - The one I found outside eats mustard covered sardines and looked like if she was hungry enough, she would have ate the slice of turkey I tried to feed her. She licked it once or twice...In the end, she went for the milk instead.
