Well, you'll have to make an estimate. We can only keep track of the cars that are registered in the U.S., but not every vehicle is registered.

Consider: there are about 300,000,000 people in the United States. And the average household has about 2 cars. Roughly, there's about 250 million registered vehicles in the United States. But that's probably an esitimate including all types of vehicles. If you want just cars, I think lost827's answer is pretty much a safe bet, maybe a little closer to 150 million.

Too many to count and it's pissing me off. Traffic is worse than ever nowadays. And people who can't drive or abide by the rules of the road don't make it any better. And I've been noticing it's not JUST old people. I see a lot of young people being retarded. It's ridiculous.
