How much will it cost to replace a windshield?

I have a '98 Ford Explorer and need to get my windshield replaced...not repaired.Does anyone know how much this will cost and have any companies to suggest?Thanks so much!

Wow, thats probably going to be expensive. First, see if your insurance will cover it or not. Most companies cover windsheilds . If not, search for an automotive glass specialist in your area (phonebook yellow pages, or google search engine work great). If you still can't find anything, call the closest Ford dealership, they will either fix it for you or tell you who can. Hope this helps!
