How do I delete music off my ipod nano

you have to go onto itunes and plug in the ipod and then go to the summary tab and check the option 'ONLY SYNC CHECKED ITEMS' then you have to check the songs you want and uncheck the songs that you dont want...usual I make a playlist and put the songs that I want on it then I go to the music tab after I plug it in then I check the playlist then sync it...
