Hope you can read this answer.

Probably the issue is with your modem (cable, DSL, telephone).

Try the following:

1. Check that all the connections are ok
2. Turn off your computer, reset the modem, wait for 30 seconds then turn on your computer again.
3. If you have a router, make sure that you reset the router first, then reset the computer afterwards.
4. Try plugging in another computer in your internet connection. If the other computer works, then the issue is with your computer.

This happens to me too...

It works again when I call my ISP (Comcast) and pay my bill that is overdue!

Good luck!

sometimes it happens to me because I am on dialup and have a slow computer that if I have been on the computer too long my server kicks me off and won't allow me to go back online..often too when I am on the internet and there is a lot of traffic or my computer is scanning for a virus then it won't allow me to access websites in the same way you describe

I think you need to contact the technical support or service department of your ISP to get a proper solution to your dilemma
