Uh yeah I think love poems are a little outdated unless you're already in a loving relationship... then again most of the time it's still cheesy. I could say that usually they're just used for comedic romance.

You should just socialize more and make a lot of friends, boys and girls. Join a club, partake in sports and other activities that requires everyone to know each other, and work as a team.
