Can you go to hell for having pre-marital sex?

I'm only 13, I'm not going to. I'm just curious since me and my friend were arguing about it not too long ago. If your a christian and have pre-marital sex, would you go to hell? And where in the bible does it say that you will or won't?

Good question. A quick thought for you though. Have you ever wondered what the phrase, "and the two shall become one flesh?", means. A couple of things. It means the physical oneness a husband and wife share, but, it also refers to the spiritual aspect as well. When a person has a physical relationship outside the bonds of marriage it takes a bit of you away spiritually. You may find the love of your life later on but it won't have that unique special bond if you were to wait until marriage. And people being people it won't necessarily work out that way because of our selfish and sinful nature, but it does hold a lot of credibility. When you find the mate God has reserved for you and you alone, get married and share the wonderful physical side of the love relationship it means so much more and there is a spiritual bonding that occurs.
To answer the chapter and verse part of the question. I'd look up fornication in the concordance of the bible. Many verses deal with sexual immorality. Remember, sin is sin, is sin, is sin. The sin seperates us from God. He loves you too much and has given you and your friend an alternative to hell. It's called life and it's only found through Jesus.

Some of us believe you create your own hell on earth and this is how we interpret going to hell... you have sex at a young age unmarried and get pregnant, unable to attend college or finish school, never achieve the life you desired, feel cheated from your future you thought you were going to have because you had sex and had a baby, well then perhaps.

If you're a Christian then you really shouldn't be having premarital sex. But you won't go to hell for it. Yes, it's a sin, but if your saved God forgives you for those sins. That doesn't mean keep doing it. It's just better if you wait, in so many ways.

God is a forgiving and merciful God, but, even if and when you ask for forgiveness... that does not cancel out the consequences... all though I believe in a literal hell, I like Sues answer... please think very long and hard before you consider this, because once its done it can never be undone... and put some thought into every consequence you can think of, then make a post stating those reasons... for the benefit of others... however, be prepared for the cheerleaders that will cheer you on... God can and does forgive ANY sin, if we want him to. That's the gift Jesus died to give us. But we have to want him to forgive us, so that means being sorry. However, better not to have to say sorry in the first place! I first had sex when I was 15 and now, looking back, it wasn't grown-up and it wasn't clever and it wasn't even very good! So I've become a Christian and God has forgiven me but it's a bit of baggage I have to carry with me, and it wasn't a good thing to have to tell the man I married, so.. yes, God can forgive, but better not to do it in the first place. You have probably have years and years of a good married sex life ahead of you, so don't panic that you're missing out!

Everyone believes something different. Personally, I believe that you should know it is wrong. I have been taught that a sin is a sin. Which means a person who lied is just as much of a sinner as a person who murdered someone. I believe if you believe in God, and are baptized he will forgive you. "Repent and be baptized" Like I said everyone is different and has their own beliefs

If I said having pre-marital sex means I am going to hell,I might as well say if I lie I'll go to hell.COme to think of it,if I swear I am going to hell.Yes a sin is a sin.Why should it be any different.Why is pre-marital sex more important than the other sins? I never could understand why people pay attentions to only issues like premarital sex,murder,and adultery,when I think issues like lying,disrespecting one another,corruption is just as bad.But we never seem to worry if we will end up in hell for that.
Well a sin is a sin.ANd if you sin you go to hell.Unless you ask for forgiveness and repent.and repent means seriously changing your mind and attitude towards something so there is no way in hell you can fake repenting.Unless you do that then the bible says that you will go to hell and, so will I if I don't stop swearing.

To me youre alitte too young to be asking such a serious question. Honestly, I think you should talk to your parents about things like this because if they too are so-called "christians" then they will lead you in the right direction. You shouldnt have to come to some forum to get your questions answered. The one thing everyone has failed to do is go to the Bible, the only place to get the right answer. I cant tell you a definite "yes" or "no" answer only God can or at least until we met him. Read the Bible I promise it will answer every question you have. So for your question the Bible says:
Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Basically, sexual sins like pre-marital sex is a sin we should run from. We cant trust ourselves, we fell every time when it comes to this aspect of life. We some how always feel the urge to sin sexually.

According to the Bible the answer is yes, you will go to hell, but the Bible also says that if you repent of your sins and turn away from them you are redeemed. This is why Jesus died on the cross. So if you choice to live in this sine you will go to hell, according to the Bible, but if you turn away and flee then you'll go to heaven. Easy as pie.

Sin is sin no matter what sin it is God does not see sin on levels if more evil or less evil the way man does...evil is evil no matter what... we are human we sin...but Christ died for that..so that we would be able to go to heaven and all you have to do is believe in you Heart what he has done and ask him to forgive you.

Romans 6:6 says how we are dead to sin and alive to God...he compleatly forgives us and we can lose that our salvation can never be taken away...even if we sin ( sex before marriage is a sin) I am saved if Igo have sex right now I am not married I would be committing a sin against God and my own Body...but yeah I would be saved still and I would still go to heaven...I think youy should read the bbile you will find many stories where people are forgiven and still saved who did wrong...that is not a reason to sin...God loves you no matter what but right is right and wrong is wrong...wait till marriage...and at the least till you are older. But No you will not go to HELL and you CAn NOT lose your salvation

God will forgive you however remember God knows everything even before we do it. however if you do slip up and do it no you will not go to hell, you need to repent of your sins and try extramly hard not do do it again. Besides God knew what he was doing when he made that "rule" he did it to protect us. imagin being a mother and not having
a husban to help take care of the child...it would be hard...or getting a std you now have to
explain to your husban down the road how you got it and he is most-likly not want to share that with you...just pray about it the lord will answer your prayer and he will grant you strength.
