well if stacy knows she will wear her lovely clothes all in good time, then stacy should just shut her trap, let it go and get over it. it's not worth fighting with your mom over a few shirts. stacy should act like an adult in this situation and just apologize and move on.

Can you give stacy advice on how to handle the situation below
Yesterday Stacy went to the 99 cent store. Stacy brought four beautiful blouses for her mom and four for her. Yesterday after she went to the 99 cent store Stacy picked her mom up from work and when they were at home Stacy gave the blouses to her mom. ...
Her mom loved them.
Today Stacy went again. Stacy brought home one blouse and one sweater for Stacy. And a blouse for either her sister or mom. Stacy gave the blouse to her mom. Her mom didn’t love it, even though it is gorgeous. However, when Stacy showed her mom the blouse Stacy brought for herself Stacy’s mom loved that one.
Mom: “Stacy I wish you could have gotten this for me in my size.”
Stacy: “I brought three necklaces as well. The price tag says $12.99 but I got the necklaces for 99 cent so I brought three different colors”
Stacy’s mom :“You know you have to get a job to wear all these clothes”
This pissed off Stacy because she feels you should buy clothes for yourself as well as to wear outside.
Stacy: “Mom please clarify”
Mom: “I just mean you have all those clothes. I mean if they were not 99 cent would you buy all of them”
Stacy asked again and that is when her mom got nasty and they had a terrible fight. Here are the things her mom said:
-I know you only gave me that blouse today because it was too big for you
-You were downsized since December and have not given me as much money as you used to
-You don’t need all those clothes in the closet
Stacy responded:
-Mom you have had a chip on your shoulder ever since I picked you up from work
-I am not going to buy you any more clothes
-And I am definitely not meeting you for lunch tomorrow or taking you to work or picking you up from work.
Stacy does not know why her mother was so hostile to her today and put down the fact that Stacy has all those clothes and how dare Stacy keep them in the closet. Stacy will wear them, it is just that it will take Stacy time to wear all of them.
