My webcam won't work

My webcam isn't working and I don't know why.
I don't have the disk for it,
but I used a website to download the software.
It worked on my laptop, but it's not working on my other computer.
Anyyone know why?

Does the driver of your webcam installed onto your computer? If your webcam comes with usb you have to install first the driver to be able to work into your computer.

What operating system does your other computer has? Check the compatability of your webcam to your computer, hardware and software.

Hi ashlie you might want try starting you webcamera
and if its not loading giving it 20mins to work, most of the time when your camming for sumone from a far distance and yall both dont have the same connection thing can go slow.
