Can red wine cause skin to peel? I heard that there may be something in red wine that causes peeling skin. Is this true? If I order red wine with my next meal should I be worried?

The last time I uncorked a bottle, I was fine. But...my wife has had a reaction like this before. If you think there is something wrong or you have an allergy to red wine, please do yourself a favor & talk to your doctor. Cheers.

What do you mean "causes skin to peel". I suppose if you soak yourself in a vat of red wine then yes it'll cause some peeling, or just the removal of dead skin, but as far as drinkingit and having skin peel ? I don't think so

no, it would not make your skin peel from just drinking it. ...probably. Soaking your skin in a vat of the stuff would probably damage you, but not drinking it. Anyway, a glass of red wine a day is supposed to be good for the heart and such.
