Can Obama be a good Dad and manage a high office in government also ?

No. He must choose one or the other. If he becomes a good president, his children will suffer. If he decides to be a good father, this nation will go straight to hell.

So basically, we'll know by next Father's Day...if Obama's kids think their Dad is being a great father, we should probably all go to the unemployment office. On the other hand, if they think he's doing a poor job at home, maybe I can finally buy a bass boat.

Can McCain manage a high office in government, AND make time for all those ''facial skin cancer removal'' procedures?

Come on Amblessed. Are you stirring the pot.
Obama, Palin, McCain, Biden, whoever can all be good parents while also doing their jobs, if they were good parents before. Yes it will be more stressful, but it will get done.

He probably will even though he's inexperienced.
I really hope he loses and goes back to where he came from.

Obama and Michelle already answered that themselves. That's why her speech focused on his ability to move politics for the average American and her personna as a mother and family person. She grew up in a family where one generation focused on moving the next generation forward. Even her brother assured the whole world that they will repeat the process for this generation. Her family will take care of the children while Obama takes care of the world. Note: We even call him Obama and her Michelle.

Yes.
His daughters don't drink, aren't pregnant, don't have autism, and he only has two.

amblessed, this is not about whether palin (which is really what you are refering to with this question) can handle the job and be a good parent at the same time. It is about the type of parenting she has already done (or the lack thereof), and about her qualification (or the lack thereof).

Obama can do anything! He is amazing! And just FYI Bush's daughters are crazy (don't know if thats a Bush family thing or parenting thing) and Sarah Pallin's (the inexperienced hockey mom who has so little experience in politics it's not even funny,
who supports abstinence and is anti everything female and that's just the beginning) daughter is pregnant! LOL! Good deal.
