Can love fade?

Is it possible to be in love with someone and then after ending on bad terms not loving them at all anymore? What do you think? Just a general question.

I agree with angelfire. True love never dies. If you say love has faded, it was never really love. You may have felt like you loved this guy, or gal, but I'm sure if it has faded, it wasn't love. Just a strong like. True love is something that you hold on to no matter what. You don't let go of and you work through everything. & So much more. But it NEVER dies.

Well a part of me will always love my first love...and of course my recent ex....

but yeah..I've had some girlfriend's in the past that I just said ''I love you'' to and now I dont even talk to some of them
