I dont think you can really, unles you tel 1 of the tutors at your college my advice wud b 2 ignore the stupid narrow minded pea brains! who have got nothin else better to do other than name call others,
Dear fau,
bullying can happen anywhere and anytime school, work etc. You need to figure out why they started to avoid this next time and more importantly how to stop it now. You need to speak with a professor or the dean. They will have their own set of rules on how they deal with this. Of course avoid the bullies and find yourself an accepting peer group. Colleges are usually pretty big and they usually have spots that you and your own peer group can go without being bothered.
Sue...good luck
It depends on whether it's specific people doing it, or whether there's something about you that attracts name calling in general. For example, if you go to a Christian college and you make a habit of wearing a t-shirt that says 'Smile Kids, Satan loves you', then you can pretty much expect people are going to insult you.
If it's a particular individual whose instigating it, getting an advisor involved could solve the problem.

Bullying, how to stop it?
How to stop the people in my college from hurling insults at me?
