Brunette to blonde?

I've always wanted to dye my hair blonde
and I've finally got the nerve to! So I called
my salon and told her what I wanted to do
and she told me that my hair wouldn't be blonde
if she dyed it; it would turn an orange color.
Is she right? I know lots of people with dark
hair who've gone blonde...

Pfft - shes not very smart than and probley shouldn't be working at a salon. I've went from pitch black to bleach blonde myself. I suggest you go to a better salon, it only goes orange if its not done properly.
