ask him out in person. Remember first impressions count..so please meet face to face in order to build that strong foundation of trust...that way he can see all your facial expressions and to see if you asking out for real..

Lol, come on you knew everyone would say in person... It really is the best way.
If you absolutely cannot do it in person, then phone, but by no means should you ever do it through a friend...

In person, I hate it when people do it through like texting or phone or notes or whatever.
In person is way much better
