Born again

Must you be born again to enter heaven

That's right. The vast majority of people who have ever lived, and who were not born again, are being tortured mercilessly for all eternity for failing to have been born in the right time and place to be brainwashed into Christianity.

Yes, unless you do not know right from wrong... Then you get to go to Heaven no matter what, but if you know right from wrong, you must be Saved!

What I get out of that is rebirth of Christ in me. A new perception. I read a book where a man said "you know, I think heaven is just a new pair of glasses" this feels so true in my life. When I started to see that the world around didnt need to change as much as my perception of it. Its like you know if all you run into all day are a-holes, then maybe your the a-hole. A personal change of perception change in me is: I dont see drunk bums anymore. I have been in recovery from alcoholism four over 4 years now, and when I see a drunk homeless person walking the streets, I see me, but for the grace of God.

I am some how able to look through the condition to the thing underneath, and realize that he/she is one of Gods kids just like me. We are all Gods kids. If one of us is, all of us are, and if one of us isnt , none of us are. The rebirth is on the inside. do you tkink getting dunked in some water can change all that stuff inside you? Baptism is a ceremony that I am proud to say I have been through, but God works through people, not water. We change the stuff on the inside with the help of God, and others, and we put on a "new pair of glasses",and begin to see Gods kids just how they are, under all that crud, and we dont judge, we love.

if you believe that Jesus is your Lord abd savior then no, you don't have to be born again to enter the kingdom of Heaven. One Baptism.
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord , continue to live in him , rooted and built up in him, strenghthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

In the bible god just simply wants us to live by his rules and commandments, if you follow these then you stand yourself in his good favor. Now god understands that we all have sin, so he forgives but you have to show that you recognise your wrong doing and try to put it right. Simply praying is not enough hence the saying actions speak louder than words. We do not enter heaven, the bible states that you are asleep in death and you await god to say rise. When this happens you are judged to see if you are righteous or unrighteous, a paradise earth awaits good godly people on earth, only the 144,000 anointed ones , god and Jesus are in heaven. I am not religious as I keep saying to other answers I just feel peace when I read the bible. Churches do not preach what is really in the bible, see for yourself.
