Biting

I HAVE A 3 MTH OLD TERRIER MIX/PUG AND A 7MTH OLD PURE BREED PUG,HOW DO I STOP THE LITTLE ONE FROM BITING UP THE BIG ONE? THE BIGGER PUPPY TRIES TO FIGHT BACK BUT HE HAS VERY SMALL TEETH AND THEY ARE NOT HURTFUL.THE LITTLE ONE HOWEVER HAS VERY LONG SHARP...

TEETH AND OFTEN TIMES CAUSES THE PUG TO BLEED RESULTING IN A TERRIBLE SCARE.I AM VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THIS BEHAVIOR AND DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO .

Well what worked for me was a water bottle. Everytime you see the dog do the biting spray him/her, it's not dangerous and it won't harm the animal, it may deter the behavior.

Advisor-small

You have to protect your older dog...Pick it up and carry it out of the room...into bathroom or a bedroom. Close the door on the puppy for 3-5 minutes...it will learn soon enough, that once he gets too rough...the game is ended...by YOU, the leader of the pack.
The pup is playing...and don't think your Pug can't put a stop to it, she can...but because she sees you as "protector" and "leader", her doggie mind says that you will handle this discipline...so you have to do it.
