If I'm on the pill is it safe to not use a condom? Is there still a chance of getting pregnant?

Depends how long you have been on it and how regular you are with it. That really makes a different. Though you should still use a condom because birth control does not prevents STD's. But other than that after the first ?3-7? days you are on the pill and if you take it regulary it should about 99.9% affective in the prevention of pregnancy.

You can take every precaution in the world and still get pregnant. It's extremely unlikely that you'll get pregnant if you have unprotected sex while on the pill (if you take it when you should), though.

Definitely check the instructions to see how long you have to take it before you're protected, though. 3-7 days is not enough - when you start, it's more like 3 weeks.

And do bear in mind what tshroom said about STDs.
