Birth certificate

new hair <3 Asked by emmaliearcade 3 months ago, 6 answers.

My mom lost my birth certificate when I switched schools.. And now I need it to get my drivers license, so shes going to get them to send me a new one or whatver they send... Not that it really matters, but if I ever find the original, would I still be...

able to use that one? Or would I have to use the new one?

in the UK, we have registry of births, deaths and marriages. if you want a duplicate (your not the first to loose your's, you certainly won't be the last! I think I'm on about birth certficate no;5!)

contact the B,D &M for the area you were born in and you need to pay for the duplicate, but they should be able to post it to you if you pay for it over the phone...

I'm not sure how it works where you are, but if you have a similar system, may be worth a go?

good luck with the driving ;O)

Well in my area, if there is problem like you have mentioned, my school certificates will work in case if birth certificate is lost. Does it work there?

Yes, you can still use the original one. The same thing happened to me and I use both of them.
