Hi twilightgr, I have thought about what you are saying myself, but when you begin to study who God is and how He works, you'll understand there was no such "big bang" about it.
God is organized and thoughtful. He wouldn't just "explode" planets, stars and everything else into existance. God made each piece by His own hand. He fashioned man after His likeness from the dust of the ground. When God breathed His breath into man's lungs, man became a living soul.
The big bang is a false theory that has become very popular. It is Satan's trick to deceive the millions into believing that there is no God, and it has worked very well.
Most of the younger generation now do not believe in God, but instead believe man began in some pond and crawled out on dry land. This is so far from the truth.
Satan has many in his grip and he will never let them go. He will hold them tight so they won't learn the truth and free themselves.
Please do not allow this to happen to you. Please read the Bible, it is God's true and holy Word. In these last days the Bible will be your ticket to freedom. It will open your heart to the truth and your eyes will see the lies and snars of Satan.
God bless you
no the big bang theory is that there was one more sun and our current sun use to be a planet. But the original sun exploded and then our planet was made out of space dust over millions of years and some of the particles created a mass implosion creating earth and then at first there was just volcanoes on other and because of all the meteors carrying water earth began to gain precipitation and then eventually our planet flooded and stayed so and the volcanoes made Pangea and then simple life began and then the theory of big bang and the theory of evolution become one
ok so yeah the big bang I guess happend! sorta! actualy your rite, god WAS the one who did the big bang! ik that that sounds so weird but its true. im a christan, so of corse I learnd this in church! maybe you could like eather read the bible or go to church (or you could do both) to find out more about it, hey I dont know every thing! lol! best of luck!
No, the Big Bang theory does not say "everything just exploded into place" It just explains the orgin of the universe, and that it was in one spot.
The actual rapid expantion was caused by a singularity that was formed from a vacuum fluctuation. A vacuum is a space empty in matter, but it is active at quantum level. There is actually no such thing as "nothing".
The way I see this, abiogenesis is the study of how life came from non-life given certain conditions. So all life is derived from molecule. In that sense all of the Universe is derived from singularity, you see? In the same way there is no "supernatruel being" envolved in abiogenesis and evolution of life, there is no "supernatruel being" envolved in the cause or evolution of the Universe. They are natruel processes.
It's kind of hard to determine what happened atleast 13.7 billion years ago, though the Big Bang describes the evolution of the universe quite well. The universe is seen to be expanding, which indicates it must have been smaller, denser, and hotter in the past.
Modern theoretical work has been able to trace the universe back to the first instants in time. In the big bang theory and in related theories that also propose a hot, dense early universe, the universe may have been filled in the earliest instants with exotic elementary particles of the types now being studied by physicists with large accelerators.
By 5 s after the origin of the universe, the temperature had cooled to 109 K (2 × 109 °F), and only electrons, positrons, neutrinos, antineutrinos, and photons were important. A few protons and neutrons were mixed in, and they grew relatively more important as the temperature continued to drop. The universe was so dense that photons traveled only a short way before being reabsorbed. By the time 1 min had gone by, nuclei of the light elements had started to form.
After about a million years, when the universe cooled to (5000°F) and the density dropped sufficiently, the protons and electrons suddenly combined to make hydrogen atoms, a process called recombination. Since hydrogen's spectrum absorbs preferentially at the wavelengths of sets of spectral lines rather than continuously across the spectrum, and since there were no longer free electrons to interact with photons, the universe became transparent at that instant. The average path traveled by a photon—its mean free path—became very large. The blackbody spectrum of the gas at the time of recombination was thus released and has been traveling through space ever since.
As the early universe cooled, the temperatures became sufficiently low for element formation to begin.

LOL and this is why they say you cant mix science with chrisitianity because of what you have hear. Those who believe in the man upstairs will tell you that God has a purpose for everything so how ever he wanted it to be bam there it was but a scientist wants to read between the lines and you must have a explanation for everything. A lot of things that are written about God are based on faith or what you believe.
You are getting the Big Bang theory a bit mixed up. The theory states that ALL matter and energy came from a point source that is called the Primal Atom (but not atom as we think of them. P.A. was just a name.) This was about 13.7 billion years ago. At first there was only extreme heat and energy, and the Universe expanded at a faster than light speed rate. (This does not violate Einstein's theory. His theory states that nothing IN the universe can exceed the speed of light.)
As the Universe expanded, it cooled and the energy began to convert into matter, only forms of hydrogen and helium and lithium at first, which formed the initial stars. When these stars went supernova they started creating more complex atoms, which, in second and third (and fourth?) generation stars became the full spectrum of elements that we know today.
After billions and billions of years one particular gas cloud of interest formed from the debris of former supernovas, and coalesced into our sun and the planets that we know today. (Carl Sagan used to very aptly say that we are all made up of Star Dust - quite literally.) Life began somewhere along the line, by happenstance or the finger of god I leave up to you.
If you want to weave this in with the story of creation in your church, be my guest. Science precludes neither faith nor religion.
(Incidentally, this month's Discover magazine has an article that has speculations as to what was before the Big Bang.)
Hope this helps a little,
Good Luck!!
"isnt this the theory that says that everything just exploded into place or something?"
No. The big bang theory says the universe began at a single point called a singularity. This singularity contained all the matter in the universe and, because of its high density, "banged" outwards in all directions causing an expanding universe. At the other "end of the universe" is the big crunch. This is the point where the universe can no longer expand and it implodes on itself, until it reaches the next singularity, when the next big bang occurs.
"wouldnt that kind of go along w/ christianity?"
It depends on what you believe. Some Christians believe the big bang fits in with what the bible says, because light results from the the universe's origin, as mentioned in Genesis 1:3 - "Then God said, 'Let there be light'; and there was light."
If light is the result of an explosion (big bang) and God created the universe, resulting in light, then God created the big bang universe, assuming you believe in both God and the big bang theory.
thats exactly what it is...a theory. and I believe its false.
because the dinosaurs didnt die out in a year or something...they died out over a period of thousands of years...not straightaway. and some animals didnt die out, they ivolved into more common animals known today. so a better reason for what happened would be a gradual climate change. that some animals couldnt survive and some could. a lot of the dinosaurs food would have died out, gradually killing the dinosuars but some animals like the smaller reptiles, crocodiles and the birds back then would have lived
If you believe the Big Bang theory as it stands right now was started by a supreme being, then that would conflict with the Young Earth Creationist theory. That's why many Christians don't accept the Big Bang. Also, if you read the book of Genesis, the order in which God creates things is very much in conflict with what scientists have discovered about how planets and stars came to be. That is why many scientists don't believe the Genesis account is valid.
twilightgrl911 - In every false religion there is enough truth to get one hooked. Satan does not start without some kind of truth, and then, he twists it, to suit himself, his theories and his plans for mankind. And we know and understand from the bible, that God is the one that loves us, and that Satan is our arch enemy.
I believe when the truth finally does come out, that there will in fact, be truth in the big bang theory, it will just be twisted.
God did in fact, speak everything into existance. It was not then, suddenly it was.
Big Bang...
Think of the miracles that God worked thru Moses. Satan challanged everyone of them. He tried to one up God. He wants the glory. Always has, always will.
He is just like a spoiled kid, he will push you to the very limit, if you let him.
He tests our patience, lies, cheats, steals, and kills.
He is as a roaring lion, that will devour anything and everything in his pathway, and the only power that is strong enough to stop him, is God.
He has filled the earth with his lies, and his poison.
He has infiltrated every mind on planet earth.
He has millions captured, that daily do his beck and call.
However, he knows that his days are short.
Soon, and very soon, the King Of Glory, is fixing to step back into the arena.
Then, lets see who the bad boy is.
"Is the "Big Bang" theory reasonable?"
Yes!
It doesn't stand up to a literal interpretation of the Bible, but, to many of us, the Bible shouldn't be taken literally but rather figuratively and more as a book of "assumed" history meant to pacify an uneducated populace.
I think the Big Bang references a single point of immense density of matter and heat. Myself, I tend to perceive of it as a single point of immense energy from which all matter evolved. The creation or infusion of that energy caused the creation of the universe and time.
The so called 'big bang theory' is just that...a theory, and a false one at that.
It takes a trillion times more faith to believe that human kind, animals, flowers, all life came out of 'soup', because it's just not so at all.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them.
Evolutionist are removing God and putting man in His place that's all
Aha someone not like my answer? Sorry I was in a rush.
I'm sorry, but
Just because you don't understand the science envolved doesn't make it a "false theory". Are you scientists? Do you study astrophysics or bilogy??
But what should I expect we aren't even at a Kardashev 1, and evolved from animals only 200,000 years ago.
God is ILLOGICAL, NON-EXISTENT, A MYTH, IMPOSSIBLE, A DELUSION. And what was "God" doing before he created the Universe? The Universe cannot be created, and there's hard evidence to support that, it happens through formation. Christianity is cult brainwashing, that promises a pleasant afterlife if you follow it. Interesting fairytales though.
Any open minded logic would dismiss God created the Universe, or that God exists. It is far more likely that the Universe is natural, requiring no creation.
A more logical scenario would be to consider the following: Are we alone? I don't think so. Was there a time before our Universe? Possibly. Are there other Universe? Not sure. Would intelligent life evolve and be knowlgable enough to be able to figure out how to give birth to another Universe? As intelligent beings are we entwined in a destiny, to give birth to Universe?
Though it's more probable that things just do what they do. And there are few gaping holes in that scenario above, there had to have been a start when things went away in another Universe, that life evolved. Concluding that Universes are spontaneous.
Let's ponder the begginning of everything. So where did the vacuum(a space empty in matter)come from? From nothing, or a different type of vacuum. What caused the Big Bang? A singularity. Where did the singularity come from? (Well first you have to understand that a vacuum curves in shape and that shape produces energy. When there is enough energy it turns into matter.)Particals materialize and dissapear.) A quantum fluctuation caused the heat and energy to expand.
"Accidents and coincidences" happen without being preordained. Everything becomes from matter and becomes what it becomes due to its environment.
Life is the reproductive organ of the cosmos, and evolution through naturel selection. Starts of as something simply replicating itself, and sustained conditions to support it.
Does there have to be a mind that creates everything that happens to exist?
No.
Is God an attempt to personify everything in order to grasp a deeper understanding of themselves, the world and the universe?
Definitely.
The myths that have been created suggests that humans rely on a level of reason for answers that use to be unexplainable. There's nothing devine about what our tiny minds can't grasp, including the ecology on Earth.
The holes of massive amonts of time an logic don't have to be filled with magic.
The Big Bang was theorized by physic scientist a lot more knowlegable in the feild then you are, thus conforms to laws of physics.
My heart aches for those who banter against the LORD. The real important thing to realize is that when someone proclaims, "There's Jesus!", DO NOT GO.
He will reveal Himself to everyone all at once in a clap of thunder, in a blink of an eye, and in Glory (a brightness) unimaginable to us right now.
He is coming for His bride..."blessed are those invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb."
AMEN!! Warmheart truer words have never been said! God bless you!
Luke 21:27 "At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory."
How many will see Him when He comes? Revelation 1:7 "Look, He is coming with the clouds, and EVERY EYE will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him."
What will we see and hear when He comes? I Thessalonians 4:16-17 "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air."
How visible is His coming to be? Matthew 24:27 "For as the lightening comes from the east and flashes to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of man."
What warning has Christ given so we won't be fooled about the second coming? Matthew 24:23-26 "At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ! or 'There He is! do not believe it. For false Christ's and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time. So if anyone tells you, 'There He is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here He is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it."
Knowing how human it is to procrastinate, what does Christ tell us to do? Matthew 24:42, "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come."
What warning has Christ given that we might not be taken by surprise by this great event? Luke 21:34-36 "Watch out! Don't let My sudden coming catch you unawares; don't let Me find you living in careless ease, carousing and drinking, and occupied with the problems of this life, like all the rest of the world. Keep a constant watch."
Why is Jesus second coming taking so long? I Peter 3:9 "... He is waiting, for the good reason that He is not willing that any should perish, and He is giving more time for sinners to repent."
While we wait for Jesus, how should we live? Titus 2:11-14 "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say 'No to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are His very own, eager to do what is good."
What will the world be like when Jesus comes? Matthew 24:37-39 "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man."
Will Christ's coming be a time of reward? Matthew 16:27 and Revelation 22:12 "For the Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels, and then He will reward each person according to what he has done." "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done."
Why is Jesus coming back? Hebrews 9:28 "So also Christ died only once as an offering for the sins of many people; and He will come again, but not to deal again with our sins. This time He will come bringing salvation to all those who are eagerly and patiently waiting for Him."
orion,
"Why does everyone discount the possibility of "The Bib Bang" and "Creative Evolution"?"
Isn't it possible that there is a God but that It didn't create "us" but instead created our soul-entity and left it up to our soul-entities to create, through (controlled) evolution, the environment and bodies that they needed to exist in within the physical dimension?
It is just possible that WE are not yet advanced enough to comprehend that there are partial truths with Darwinists, Creationists and Intelligent Design proponents?
Who are WE to decide what methods and tools God could use in God's Creation and in the furtherance thereof?

Big bang theory
Alright I've been kind of wandering something... The big bang theory.. (correct me if im wrong) but isnt this the theory that says that everything just exploded into place or something? And wouldnt that kind of go along w/ christianity? I mean god...
said. Let there be light and bam there was light.. So on so forth.. Help me out here to get this straight. Lol. Thanks
