Bestfriends?

So I have this friend named maria and she has an account on this and I love her like a bestfriend and I want her to be my best friend. The thing is that she already has a best friend her name is therese.in my opinion I spend so much more time with maria...

than therese does.I guess you can say im a little jelous that therese is her best friend but im not. I dont even have a best friend . I know I can find another bestfriend but maria has a personality like no one I've ever met she is very down to earth. And speaks the truth no matter what you can go to her profile and read her about me section and you'll know what I mean. I really want to be her best friend and not therese ..gosh I seem so selfish for saying that ... At the same time I dont want to cause any problems.what should I do?((please help me))

well don't worry so much about this Therese, I don't see a reason why Maria can't have two best friends?... just keep on being the friend that you are to Maria, I'm sure she sees the good in you and looks to you as her best friend as well =)

Ohh I can sorta relate tew yuh...because I was best frends with this girl for six years and then sum other girl came in the picture and I started to feel reallyy left out, I think that the best thing you cud do is try and just be a good friend tew her.Hang out with her a lot and tlk to her about your problems and things like that and maybee just try and see what she finds soo great about the other chick! Like just try too add urself into there convos and like just maybee she'll notice u...does she no that you thinkk of her as a best friend?! Maybee If she did then she'd feel the same way about u! I think the best thing you cud do is just continue tew be her friend and be there for her and never try tew change the person that you are just soo that she cud like you more because that's not what its about.Just stand by her and just tell her that tew you she Is like one of your best frends and seeing how close her and her best friend are kinda hurts yuh and makes yuh feel left out.Thats really all you can do! why do you need to be someone's best friend? why cant you just enjoy being her friend? also there's no rule that dictates a person has to only have one best friend...
And honestly time spent with a person doesnt make them your best friend. Just enjoy being friends with her, and give it some time and you may become better friends. Why put pressure on something just for a label?
