Jeremy Goodrich yep, that's me Asked by thedude over 2 years ago, 1 answer.

My son is home from school due to a teacher inservice day this Friday, and I need to find a way to entertain him so I can get some work done. I work from home, so it's not like I have to take the day off, but I have a huge list of things to do, and am...

worried with him here, I won't be able to take care of business.

Any other work at home dad's or mom's have any tips? thanks.

Don't forget that monday is Labor Day. I find that children are wonderful when you pump them with a ton of sugar, keep them up as long as you can the previous night, and then repeat the sugar dosage first thing in the morning followed by a long pointless run on the jumbo hamster wheel. If you don't have a hamster wheel to accomidate the size of your children then a fun game of spin or run in circles might help, but this of course might take you from work for too many "second-wind" episodes. If they refuse to sleep at the point of the sugar low, try the "babysitter" or "television" as some people call it to keep them busy. Of course if all else fails make sure to have a tranquilizer pistol nearby with enough sedative to take down one of the little spawn. (Which could be a very entertaining game of Duck Hunt after the infusion of sugar)

Hope your friday is filled with blissful work-filled hours of uninterupted joy.
