Oatmeal is a great breakfast, very healthy. Adding fruit and/or cinnamon will make it even healthier and tastier. Oatmeal you cook is better but for the time it takes Quakers oatmeal is just as good.
Other meals:
I do not advise granola bars at all! A really healthy and low-cal breakfast would be a parfait with your choice of fruit, choice of yogurt and choice of cereal or museli mixed together. (Includes all four of the food groups if your museli/cereal has nuts in it)
If this doesn't give you enough energy a peice of fruit, eggs, toast with minimal butter or jam, breakfast turkey, and a glass of milk or juice is a great option. (with milk you have all four food groups).
If you don't care if you have all four food groups mix and match the foods below so that your breakfasts are always different!
Museli or Cereal with milk
Oatmeal with cinnamon and/or fruit
Fruit
Yogurt
Eggs (scrambled, Sunny side up, hard boiled, etc.)
Omlette (add vegtables, meats, cheese and/or spices)
Breakfast meats (ex: turkey backbacon)
Whole Wheat Toast with butter, jam and/or peanut butter
Bagels with cream cheese, butter, peanut butter and/or jam
Herbal or Green Tea
Bran or Whole Wheat Muffins (healthier if homemade)
Pancakes (healthier if homemade)
Waffles (healthier if homemade)
Healthy Leftovers
