I was just reading an article about donating used cell phones and how some places dont actually pass on the entire amount to the charities, here's an article I found
I personally think battered women's shelters could really use them, (but I am biased towards that particular charity) but it's really up to you
Not sure if your area has anything linked to it, but in Ireland you can donate your old cellphone to a charity which recycles the phone, is paid for the parts, and all the money goes to supplying nurses for babies with severe neurological impairment- every 20,000 phones donated can provide a nurse to a child for one year.
The charity is called the Jack and Jill Children's Foundation. Might be worth looking into an equivalent charity in your area.

Best place to donate cellphone?
So my Dad gave me his old Nokia 2128i to get rid of, he suggested selling it on eBay. (it has the box, instruction booklet in shrinkwrap still, car charger, wall charger AND headphones). BUT I looked on eBay and it's running ~ $20.
SO I'd rather...
donate it to a good cause. Preferably one where shipping is low or free, and the phone is given to a good cause, not sold or something.
Any ideas?
