Is playing bass guitar easy?

Is plying the bass easy??? I'm thinking of starting 2 learn bass... I'm a girl at 13... is there anything I shud probably know or be good at like theory or anything before I start learning??? I reali want 2 b gud at it fast... I'm now learning drums......

and haf been plyin drums since last yr...

bass is SUPER easy, unless your playing progressive metal (Protest the Hero, Dream Theater, etc) but even then its not that hard

I've been playing bass for about 2 years now, and it had to be the easiest thing I ever learned. keepin mind I've been playing guitar since I was 6 though. haha

but I'm currently teaching my friend how to play and its been 2 weeks and he's pretty good.

since youre learning drums, you should have good timing. and thats obviously good.
pretty much just learn the notes of the bass, learn how to read a bass tab and youre good to go
