Basketball tryouts

I'm 6'3 and I'm tyring out for the school basketball I'm the tallest freshmen there so do I need to try as hard as the shorter people or just think I'm going to get on team because I'm tall

You should absolutely try your best. It doesn't matter if you have a natural advantage, it'll just make you look careless and like uoi think too highly of yourself if you don't try as hard as the short people. If I was running tryouts, I wouldn't care if someone was 7 ft tall, if he/she didn't try their best, they would NOT make the team! Always try your best in everything you do!!! Peace.

Regardless of your height, the Coach will choose the best players considering: natural ability/practice habits/ability to work as a team-member/character.....practice,practice,practice,....then practice some more
