Mom gets mad when I'm home late from playing baseball

why my mom alwaysz yells at me 4 gettin hom l8 fom playing baseball and yea itsz onlii playin baseball itsz not like im out smoking pot or and e thing else

She's worryied about you
I think that's why she yells

Tell her "would you rather have me out there doing bad things?"

and say "baseball is my anti-drug"

Your mom just doesn't understand that whenever your out playing Baseball, and the instructor needs you to stay after she is paranoyed.
I also think that she's too protective of you and she's not letting you grow. But, I can see her point of worrying about you.

Tell her it runs late

my mom is really protective too, she yells at me if I don't call when I arrive at school. She's sooo paranoid, because bad things have happened to her and our family, and she's looking out for me. Sometimes I just yell back, she gets really upset and I say, 'I'm sorry mom, I keep my cellphone on vibrate in my pocket, almost every minute of every day. My school is really safe, I know how to fight, I'm strong, so if something happens, I know what to do.'

I love what merriemac said, and it's true (I hope) that you don't do drugs or anything like that. So let her know that. Parents find it hard to see kids grow up, so they treat you like a little kid at times, just show her how resposible you are and she'lll give you a little room to grow.

Parents worry about their kids, did your mom have a miscarrage or have a child or hers pass away? My mom did, and she doesn't want to see that happen again, so she's doing this for a reason. Just let her know you're responsible, and someitmes people get home late, she does, you do, I do... the whole world coems late sometimes.
