u can train a cat not to do something get a spray bottle with water just dont put the nozzle on stream(lets face it that hurts even us humans sometimes) but you should wait till he is alittle older like after you spade or neuter him cause right now hes a kitten so he has a lot of energy he doesnt know what to do with(so play with the little guy a lot) and doesnt know any better(u didnt have that much fear when you were a baby either) so if he grows up and doesnt stop then you spade or neuter and it doesnt stop you the spray bottle trick(make sure its on mistcause my brother made that mistake and the cat hates him forever now and I think its blind in one eye) is not then take him to the vet and see what they say
she is a kitten, and is playing at the moment (I had to re-dress my entire christmas tree completly 5 times last christmas grrr)
and she would do the normal feet attacking, actually I take that back - she would attack everything lol!
she has calmed down a lot now, but I still fear for the welfare of my christmas tree this year, because she's just so adventerous and playful...
and I have asked for somethign for my other cat that fights, but they said they can only give you something is the cats psychotic.
theres a natural plug in for cats called feliway - it kind of emites vapours that chill the cat out, you need one for each floor...might work. you can get them from the vets or online. you don't really want to start pumping an adventerous kitten full of medication, because it's doing what kittens do, do you?
p.s my cats jumps around my desk to chase the mouse icon on the scree!
I find the 'toys on a stick' are really good, it alows you to emulate something for her to chase and enables you to keep some much needed distance - you know, for when her pounce has a bad aim lol'!
here my other one that cost me in jun £205 for a vet bill because' he fights...on and another £60 in feb and another £285 in november...I've only had him 1 year (he was a feral cat who adopted us - saw the suckers didn't he lol!)
my kitty used to jump up and play with the blinders in the middle of the night... highly irritating... I use the time out method which might sound ridiculous but it works...
if she's doing something bad, I say no, then lock her in the bathroom for a bit... or if she's being annoying in my room, I lock her out... it takes a couple of months, but she no longer plays with the blinds, wakes me up at night, or jumps up on the counter...
