The best thing you can do is take him to a vet. they can clean his gums (much like a dentist) and check for other problems. Doggy bad breath is usually a sign of digestive disorders.

Have you wormed you dog lately. In your dogs case this may be worms. Bad breath in a signal not to be masked over. I would try to figure out what is wrong. Round worm is one bad worm that can cause bad breath.

Do you have your dog on a monthly worming program? Like Interceptor?

Yeah I worm him. I just moved to Indiana and his breath has always been bad. I worm all my dogs. They all eat the same thing but he always has bad breath. The other one is normal but his is so bad I want to gag. The vet said its normal. So I was wanting something to try to get it taken care of.
