What if my nephew is really bad?

Talk to his parents about it. They should be able to discipline their own child, use some examples of his recent unacceptable behavior so they get the point too.

give hima time out or sumthin.. you must set boundaries. dont take any of his crap!

My nephew has aged me far beyond my years since he was a toddler. His older brother did the same thing. As many different tactics as I have tried over the years, I am as of late, just about at my wits end. I am drawing the conclusion that some kids are just mean spirited. It has started to effect my own children/his cousins. I can discipline them, but he doesn't care and talks back terribly. Both of my nephews were raised by my mom. Even though it is great that she was there for them. I don't think a grandparent always make a great parent. My sister was on drugs and I think my mom feels sorry for them, and lets them get away with murder. Personally I think women who take drugs during pregnancy should go to jail for attempted murder. Too many children are born this way today and we will pay as a society later. I love them very much, but I am not superhuman and I know now that I can't change them. It breaks my heart.
