Yes! I am fourteen, and I babysit lots! You can actually go to a 3 hour baby sitting course at a local gym (you can look it up on google) where they will give you a "baby sitting license" and show you how to do CPR and take care of emergencies. Start out small with money prices, and soon you will get more money for good jobs done! Remember to always clean up and follow the parents rules! Don't be afraid to ask ANY questions, and be sure to get emergency contacts numbers. Good luck!

it's not so much the age, it's more towards how mature does the babysitter act and how much do they knew in case of an emergency. Also how old is the child comes into play.

depends on how mature and responsible you are.Not hoe much YOU think you are, but how much the parents of the child think you are.

I know im definatley going to babysit. but like one girl said, I have to take cpr classes, which I havent. :-(. I'm the youngest child, so I just think its a blessing to have kids around! :-D

12 or 13, but not for a newborn, or a baby under 1, I'd say.

I think its old enough the first time I babysat I was 10 and at 11 or 12 I babysat a newborn (pinkpearl as long as you know how to take care of a newborn I think its fine to let a 12 or 13 year old babysit them)
