No, it's really hard to break a family habit like that - it almost begins to feel normal. But you sound like you know it isn't really normal, or a good idea, to have a baby too young. People cope if they have to, but your life will be much better if you enjoy your life as a teenager and young adult before finding the right man and settling down.
It's a good idea to talk to your mum and grandmother. Find out from them what they wished they could have done, but gave up to look after their children. Think what you will be able to do, that they missed out on! Education, friends, nightlife, freedom, choice... all of those things can be yours if you dare to break the family's habit.
Life is more complex than it was in your mother and grandmother's eras, and it is becoming even more so. You would be serving yourself (and your future children) much better by spending the next few years gaining as much education and knowledge as you can. The whole rest of your life, as far as being successful and happy, is dependent on what you do for the next few years.
Sweety, let me tell you something and this is from the heart. PLEASE WAIT. I had my first child at 19 with a man I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with and when I had him I was happy because I had my family, but eight years later and I broke up with my kids father last year. I have four all together now, I am going to be 26. There are a lot of things I wish I could be doing right now that I can't because I have kids. I get no sleep because during the day I watch them and at night I work, My twenty first birthday I was hoping would be fun and I spent it taking care of a child. Unless you have parents who would support you if you did please don't do it.
