ohhh umm not really sure I usually used like the plastic spoons and like at target they have like these packages that are plastic but throw aways I really liked those. I know this is your question but can I ask you why you want to know?

probably sometype of soft rubber that keeps the babies gum from being so sore cause thats really the only type of silverware that they need to use is baby gerber spoons and forks and they are made of plastic.
