I'm guessing this is a wild baby rabbit? Upon Googling I found this site:
http://www.debmark.com/rabbits/faq/wild.htm
Scroll down and there are suggestions as to what to feed the bunny. In one part, it says not to give the baby rabbit lettuce or cabbage, but it mentions alfalfa hay, carrots, and rabbit pellets.
Hope this helps!
Shredded carrots and letttuce are not a good idea. Carrots are high in sugar and should only be fed as a treat. Iceberg lettuce has no nutritional value.
For a list of appropriate veggies see http://mysite.verizon.net/vze27h5b/id24.html You can start introducing veggies slowly and one at a time after s/he is about 8 weeks old. If you see any problems with his/her poop (that is they are not fecal pellts that look like brown peas) stop the veggies. Your baby needs pellets formulated especially for them like Oxbow Bunny Basic 15/23 and alfalfa and Timothy hay available at all times. You can order them on-line at http://www.oxbowhay.com/Shop/Order/quickOrder.sp or check with your local exotic (rabbit) veterianrians to see if they stock them. I don't buy anything from most pet stores for my rabbits because most of its junk. Diet is the most important thing in rabbit care. It prolongs their life and saves you vet bills.
House Rabbit Society has an article on feeding baby buns at http://www.rabbit.org/care/babies.html#Feeding_Orphaned_Baby_Rabbits but it's fairly complex if you're not a rabbit person.

Good luck and thanks for helping this rabbit.

timothy hay, carrots and cabbage and you can also get rabbit food at stores
Right. No cabbage either. It produces gas in most rabbits that causes pain. They then stop eating, go into stasis and can die if not treated quickly. Better not to risk it.

go to your local pet shop and ask them for mother's milk for baby bunnies...they're need to be bottle fed...after feeding, gently rub their tummies like their mother would do if she were licking them...be very gentle when bottle feeding...it might take them some getting used to with the nipple on the bottle but they SHOULD take to it...
should I wory about my baby bunnies getting hurt by these cats that keep coming to my backyard.my mom says not to worry because they are wild animals.what should ido.
I got a 6week old baby dwarf lop and the best food for is the rabbit nuggets and hay as that lines there stomache but I would contact the vets and ask them also you will have to get the rabbit vaccinated one at 8weeks and one at 10weeks this is for myximitosis and vhd I've just booked my rabbit in but phone around some vets as they are between £12.00 and £25.00 each hope this is all you need to know
