Baby blues!

Asked by chris_tina87 over 2 years ago, 3 answers.

My partner and I are trying for a baby, we have been having unprotected sex for 10 months with a 5 week gap in the middle when I was away with work..so therefore almost 9 months of trying! I have not got pregnant yet! Is this normal? I heard that each...

time you have unprotected sex there is an 85% chance of becoming pregnant, we usually have sex with my partner ejaculating in me around 7-10 times a week...this is quite a lot in my opinion and so I cant understand why I haven't become pregnant yet! My boyfriend has a child with a previous partner so I know it's not a problem with him! I havent said anything to anyone as I dont want to sound silly but it's really starting to worry me.. every month when my period comes around I feel like crying when it comes! I mean how long should I expect to be trying? Is there a time when I should think it's been too long and consult a doctor? I want a family and the thought of not being able to have one is tearing me up! I also knwo how much having a family means to my boyfriend. Any advice would be gratefull appreciated as I cannot seem to get the subject out of my head

10 months sound like quite a while. And of course these things happen when you don't want them to, and just when you need a baby it's not happening. Maybe it's nothing serious, but maybe you have a problem that's best treated soon - so I think you should see a doctor, it's in your best interest. We don't know what's going on in your body so advice from here wouln't be as helpful...

Sometimes it just takes time to get pregnant. You could always talk to you doctor about it but I would just suggest you hang in there for a while and be patient. If things don't work out or you both get too anxious then talk it over togeather and then consult your doctor about what steps you should take.

you should go to the doctor so he can put you on a system to see when you ovulate so you have a better chance to get pergnant so you dont have to have so much since you dont like that much, and also him going all the time puts his sperm count down which is a less of a chance on getting pregnant and sometimes it just does take a long time it took my friends 10 years just dont try so hard and will happed good luck and hope it happens for you!!
