Is my baby's fever too high?

me again Asked by pooratty 9 months ago, 7 answers.

hi my babys just woken up scream and I've just taken her temperature and its 35.8 degrees. is this too high? she sweaty and hot.
please help!!!

I would DEFIINITLEY take her to a doctor right away, something could be very wrong. And if you are concerned for her safety, take her to the hospital now.

C is Celcius and F is Ferinheit.

I hope your baby is okay today. If you still haven't taken her to the doctor you should. Otherwise I would bathe her in tepid (not cold not too warm) water so her fever comes down. Do this as many times as she breaks out feverish and if you can get her a medication with ibuprofen for babies I would do it as well. It helped my daughter when she was this way.

shes ine now I took her to the doctor and he said she just a a temperature and a chest infection.

No its not that is perfectly okay, how old is your baby? is she teething? has she been feeding alright?
